Carbery Macra is the Regional Executive for the nine Macra clubs in west cork. Macra is for people aged 17-35 interested in sport, socialising, travel, Arts, craft, leadership training and much much more. Innishannon, Kilbrittain, Ballinascarthy, Clonakilty, Kilmeen, Caheragh, Dunmanway, Mizen and Bantry are the local clubs.
Comeragh Wilderness Camp is a therapeutic camping programme for troubled teens. The camp provides a place for young people to learn the relational and academic skills necessary to return successfully to their home and school. Youth live in small groups, building and maintaining their camp site in the wood. Created by the young people of Lisburn, this cross-community site aims to provide information on the leisure and entertainment facilities Lisburn offers its youth. They also provide information on educational, health and safety issues.
C.T.Y.I (The Irish Centre For Talented Youth) was set up in 1992 in Dublin City University, in co-operation with John Hopkins University, Baltimore. It aims to identify high ability children from diverse social backgrounds and help them reach their full potential through fast paced, stimulating weekend and summer programmes.
