The Social Action Group is a youth driven organisation that provides assistance and services to the elderly and anybody in need in the community. Our group is run by local school students between the ages of 14 and 18 under the guidance and leadership of the group's founder Jerh O'Donoghue. Over the past 26 years, we have evolved from running a laundry service for the elderly to building a youth creativity centre, a day care centre, 7 sheltered houses for the elderly and employing 16 people.
The Hoopoe Bird Foundation is an Ireland based charity set up to raise fund for humanitarian and human rights purposes, especially in the Middle East and Palestine, where people endure the awful consequences of conflict and war, injury, death, eviction, illness, and of course poverty. The Hope Foundation set up in 1999 works to achieve sustainable development among poor communities living in Calcutta.
